✔️ PRODUCTION PROCESS
Our bamboo straws are completely handmade in Vietnam by local people and do not use any chemicals or industrial machinery. The production process is 100% handmade. The bamboo raw material area is sustainably grown naturally, without the use of chemicals, fertilizers or pesticides. Bamboo is a miraculous plant. They do not need to be replanted but can regenerate themselves after being exploited with extremely fast growth. Bamboo products are always considered sustainable and environmentally friendly.

When we produce bamboo straws, only the top part of the bamboo tree/branch is cut. The base of the bamboo is kept intact to ensure that the bamboo can regenerate quickly. The cut bamboo is naturally exposed to the sun for many days. Once the bamboo is completely dry, the craftsmen will cut it into standard 20cm pieces. The raw bamboo straws are boiled for 30 minutes and then polished by hand and then boiled again for 30 minutes. After boiling, the bamboo straws are dried in the sun before being packaged as finished products.

✔️ Each bamboo straw goes through 4 quality control steps. This process helps us ensure that no bamboo straws are broken, have dirt, insects, or mold stains. After receiving the product, boil it in hot water for 5 minutes, dry it before use, and store it in a well-ventilated place. It is recommended to buy a cleaning stick to make it easier to clean the straw after each use.
